 Start the New Year off right; Church New Year, that is. Beginning January 21, 2009, Sue and Blake will be leading Thursday evening Bible study discussions based on daily lectionary texts, supplemented with devotions on leading a spiritually disciplined life.
But why wait until 2009 to start studying the Bible? The Church New Year starts on November 30. Go to www.pcusa.org, click on devotions & readings. Under “Lectionary Readings” you can choose to read the daily lectionary texts on line, or subscribe to a user email list. Podcasts are also available. You can also hear the Sunday Lectionary Readings on our church website.
Along with the daily lectionary readings in January, Devotional Classics will be our “text book”, which will be ordered after the first of the New Year. For more information regarding these classes or the ordering of books, contact Sue or Blake. With busy schedules, come as you can; we’ll leave the light on.
